WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
WHERE DO YOU THINK FEAR COMES FROM?
Honestly, I think fear comes from the lack of faith within God and within yourself.
WHAT DO YOU THINK PEOPLE FEAR THE MOST?
From my perspective people mostly fear the unknown. Having no clue or control over what's to come can put you into a constant state of fear which leads to disorders like anxiety and so on.
WHAT DOES FACING YOUR FEARS LOOK LIKE TO YOU?
To me facing your fears is feeling the fear and doing it anyway.
HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO REACH THE POINT OF LETTING GO OF FEAR?
Once I started to wholeheartedly believe in myself and have a good sense of what I was capable of, that's when I reached the point of letting go of fear. But that was just half of the work that needed to be done. One day, I stumbled upon the bookstore and picked out a book called "The untethered soul' by Michael A. Singer and that was the day that my life began to change. In this remarkable book, Singer talks about the mental blocks in your mind and basically how our subconscious mind has been holding us back from a glorious life. In the midst of reading the book, I picked up on a lot of things Singer mentioned which were fairly new to me. I began meditating on a daily basis and started to notice that most of our thoughts are fear based. I applied everything written in the book to my lifestyle and it drastically started to change.

WHAT DOES LETTING GO OF FEAR FEEL LIKE?
Letting go of fear feels liberating! No overthinking, no what‑ifs, no ands or buts, no validation, just doing it anyway.
WHAT DO YOU DO NOW WHEN FEAR STARTS TO CREEP IN?
Once I feel fear starting to creep in on me, I began to ask God for guidance and just look at everything in my life that has gone/ is going right. I imagine if i would have achieved all of these things had I been fearful. Realizing that the only thing in my way is me, has allowed me to be fearless.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMONE STRUGGLING WITH THIS?
Advice I would give someone struggling with this is to start small practices by reading ways on how to reprogram your subconscious mind because that is where fear stems from. Once you start there, begin meditation so your mind can be more at peace, try journaling everyday to keep track of how you're feeling and your days are going. Then, start writing some small goals you want to achieve and stay dedicated to them by completing them. Once you start completing those small goals you will start to gain trust within yourself and become more confident in what you're capable of. Confidence is also key. You will see major improvement and will become completely fearless in all aspects of life.
IF YOU COULD TELL YOUR YOUNGER SELF ONE THING, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
If i could tell my younger self one thing it would be "Be true to yourself".
